Formed in 2020 during the spring lockdown this dynamic new folk group created by Eleanor Prout; folk harpist and creative based in Wiltshire and Laurel Saunders; artist and multi-instrumentalist.

Their inspiration comes from folk tunes and stories that form the traditions we see today in the UK. Through delving into the wealth of English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish songs that forms our musical heritage, they endeavour to bring out the raw emotions we all experience through life with inspirations from popular music and newer technology alongside these traditional foundations.With private events and busking under their belt Aspen hope to perform locally and at folk festivals as restrictions lessen.
