SKEW

Laurel Saunders, John Kelly, Lauren Ellis and Grace White
This quartet wishes to push the boundaries that confine the clarinet in audiences' minds and to challenge the sound world written for them.

Monterosa Trio
Pianist Yong xin, Violist Ilana Tapper and Clarinettist Laurel Saunders came together in their first year at RNCM to create this Piano trio.
They have been exploring what repetoire is available and has become very excited by the prospect of music here-to unrecorded or performed.
In becoming familiar with great Mozart and Bruch works they have been contrasting and expanding their programmes with 20th century composers with the like of Gordon Jacob and Julius Röntgen.
Their aim for the near future is to take part in RNCM chamber competitions and performances available as well as sharing this more unusual chamber group sound to the wider public spaces.
